Furniture Upholstery should be professionally cleaned at least once a year. When body oils blend with the dust, it gets embedded in the upholstery fabric and can show soiling. Hot water extraction lifts the oil, dirt, and grime, leaving the fabric looking fresh and revived.

Our Upholstery Cleaning Process

1: Walk-Thru
We do a walk-thru with every customer to address any areas of concern, take measurements as needed, determine the best cleaning process for the upholstery, and set clear expectations of results prior to cleaning.

2: Prep & Protection
We use floor/corner protection & our Orange Seal-A-Door covering as needed.

3: Pre-Spray
We use a pre-spray to break down any soiling or sticky substances left behind by spills or body oils on the upholstery fabric.

4: Cleaning
We clean using a truck mounted hot water extraction system (commonly referred to as “steam cleaning”) and specialty cleaning tools along with cleaning agents designed specifically for cleaning upholstery. All fabric will be cleaned including cushions, pillows, whole frame body, arms, skirting.

5: Fabric Protector (Optional)
This is an optional application with an additional cost. A protector like Scotchgard is applied to the fabric after the cleaning. This application helps protect the fabric from wear and staining. Your upholstery will look great and last longer!

6: Brushing
As needed, we may brush out cleaning marks to even out fabric.

How Do I Prepare For My Upholstery Cleaning?
1) Furniture Upholstery Cleaning: Please note that we do not disassemble sectional couches in order to clean them. If it’s in one piece when we arrive, we’ll clean it as one unit. If you’d like all sides of each piece cleaned, we can clean all sides, but it is the owner’s responsibility to disassemble the sectional pieces before our arrival, and then to reassemble it after the upholstery has dried completely.
2) Do not use any store-bought products to try to remove any stains before we arrive, as these may interact with our cleaning agents. We’ll take care of them in the cleaning.
3) Please keep pets and children out of the work area so there are no accidents or disruptions.
4) Prior to our arrival, please clear all entrances, walkways and stairs that may be used.
5) Please close the doors of areas we will not be cleaning. (We will not enter a closed door unless otherwise discussed.)
6) Please notify us prior to the cleaning if any family members have severe allergies or health conditions that may be affected by cleaning products.
7) We will bring in our own filtered and softened water, but occasionally may need access to a utility sink and/or an outside faucet.
8) Please schedule any other contractors outside of our cleaning time (when possible) so they’re not tripping over our hoses during our cleaning process.
9) Please schedule seal-coating of parking lots & driveways for AFTER we’ve been there to clean the carpet. (We don’t want to track anything in or get tar on our cleaning hoses. Thank you!)

What should I use to clean spots/spills on my upholstery?
We offer a fantastic product called Spot Out that works great on spots & spills. You'll receive a sample in your goody bag at the end of your cleaning. But if you need more, we do have a larger size for sale. Call us when you need more!

Can you remove pet stains and odors from my upholstery?
We typically have great success removing pet stains and odors. However, we cannot 100% guarantee removal especially if it has soaked into the cushion or frame. We do have a few things we can try, so give us a call and we'll see what we can do!

Will the stains come out of my Upholstery?
Our technician will take a look at your upholstery and let you know what you can expect with the cleaning. There are some stains that cannot be 100% removed, but we'll do everything we can to get it looking as good as possible!

How Long Does It Take To Dry?
Upholstery dries pretty quickly and should be able to be used again within a few hours of cleaning.

No, we only clean fabric.
